		Leader Certification Manual This manual provides an advanced course of study for those who teach adult Sabbath School lessons. The principles are based upon sound biblical research as well as insights gleaned from religious education methods and experience. "Though the spread of Christianity is miraculous and dependent upon a power outside of human ability, it also has taken place by mean of education principles," says author James Kilmer, a pastor, evangelist, and church growth coordinator. Upon completion of the certification series of 12 lessons, Sabbath School class facilitators will be equipped to do the following: Trace awakened interest, spiritual growth, and enthusiastic involvement on the part of class members. Demonstrate an understanding of how spiritual learning supersedes an accumulation of factual information. Demonstrate the ability to teach to the domains of faith, action, and knowledge. Lead a discussion of Bible-based experiential learning. Distinguish between Bible-based experiential learning and humanistic-oriented fellowship. Demonstrate quality leadership of small group discussion and/or conversational Bible study Transition students into motivated Bible study, Spirit-filled love, and habitual service. Formulate life-related, Bible-based questions to draw out discussion of the Sabbath School lesson. Demonstrate the ability to work with minds in such a way as to maximize receptivity, change of attitude, and change of conduct on the part of class members.
